2013 Lindenderry Estate Pinot Noir

This Pinot Noir shows an abundance of red cherry and poached plum aromas, with subtle clove and cinnamon spice complementing in the background.
The fruit for this wine is a combination of the D5V12 and D2D5 clones from our elevated, cool Red Hill vineyard.
 
The grapes were sorted then destemmed and fermented in small open fermenters using indigenous yeast, minimal hand plunging, spending 21 days on skins. The wine was bottled unfined and unfiltered. This Pinot Noir shows an abundance of red cherry and poached plum aromas, with subtle clove and cinnamon spice complementing in the background.
 
On the palate – again a mixture of poached plums and cherries, dense, vibrant balanced acidity, fine textured tannins with subtle spice on the finish.
