The Lancemore Group
Award wining wines
The Lindenderry vineyard is approximately 25 years old. With 8.5 acres under vine, we have near equal plantings of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, from which we make our Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Rose.
The predominate soil type is grey brown clay loam, which is one of the better soil types from moisture and nutrient retention. You will notice that our trellis system is different to most on the Peninsula; we use a Lyre trellis, which allows vigour to be controlled while also promoting an open canopy and maximising light to the fruiting zone.
The Lancemore Group
These premium quality wines are an integral part of the concept supporting Lindenderry, one of Australia's leading country house hotels and vineyards. Influenced by the cool maritime climate & the rich soils of the region, coupled with intense canopy management of the Lyre trellis has resulted in wines of exceptional quality.
2010 Lindenderry Estate Pinot Noir Chardonnay Red hill, Vic
Generous, opulent and enticing with aromas of guava, ripe tropical fruits and vanilla.
Complex notes of cashew, nuts and brioche compliment a soft palate of savoury creaminess.
Offers generous weight and a balanced, refreshing finish.
2013 Lindenderry Pinot Gris Macedon Ranges, Vic
The wine displays aromas of spiced apple/pear notes, honey, and citrus pith.
The palate is textured and long, with pear, nutmeg and honey, and vibrant acid.
2011 Lindenderry Estate Chardonnay Red Hill, Vic
Lifted lemon blossom, sherbet and a hint of spicy oak. Lovely fresh lemon sorbet flavours
with a powerful condensed middle palate opening up to a lingering creamy citrus finish.
2013 Lindenderry Pinot Noir Rose Macedon Ranges, Vic
The wine of a pale pink appearance has an intense perfume of crushed raspberries,
rose, and cinnamon. The palate has depth and drive, again with crushed red berries,
spice and a dry, long finish.
2010 Lindenderry Estate Pinot Noir Red Hill, Vic
A lighter, softer and feminie expression of pinot noir from the Lindenderry vineyards.
Nuances of fresh raspberries, laveneder and sweet cinnamon spice linger on the nose.
The palate displays bright and fruit forward characters of raspberries and cranberries,
youthful sweet spice and a hint of lemon myrtle.
2009 Lindenderry Pinot Noir Macedon Ranges, Vic
Big and bold, this pinot from Macedon is robust and displays stewed fruits of dark
plum and cherry, black pepper and anise spice on the nose. The palate displays great
length of cedar, chocolate and dark stewed fruits. Leaves a warmth on the back palate.
2013 Lindenderry Shiraz Grampians, Vic
Deep, dark red with a purple hue. Aromas of black and red berries with subtle,
integrated oak to be found. The palate is long and detailed with a balanced
tannin profile, fresh acidity, ripe dark fruit and hints of background oak.
Medium bodied, fleshy, ripe and aromatic, this wine is a great example of a
cooler climate Shiraz.
