Our Vineyard
Coming up to 20 years in age, our 3.35 hectare vineyard has equal plantings of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
As you drive down the driveway, when you next visit, take notice of the trellis system in the vineyard. We use the rare Lyre trellis, while it's one of the more attractive trellises it is also ideal for our potentially high vigour site, controlling canopy growth while promoting light exposure to the fruiting zones.
We control our cropping levels at ensure our Pinot Noir yields between 2 - 2.5 tonne to the acre and our Chardonnay at 3 tonne to the acre. This helps to ensure our winemakers have the best fruit to work with in the winery.
