Gardens
Enter the long and winding driveway, edged with tall Alnus. Pass through the vine covered hills. On from the buildings you will find Lakes,a Courtyard of Silver Birches and Crab Apples, an Orchard, a stone-walled Sunken Garden, sloping lawns dotted with huge Eucalyptus, sheltered seats fringed by Mexican Orange Blossom, and made just for two. Or there are gravelled rose bordered gardens perfect for a celebration of a 100 or more. Open your bedroom door and smell the roses twirling across the Verandas.
All around is the soft beauty of the heart of the Mornington Peninsula. Turn to the right or to the left and you will discover hills and valleys, gardens and galleries, pretty towns and National Parks, and then the Sea only 10-15 minutes away in either direction.
It is easy to understand why the Mornington Peninsula was the first, and still the most loved, playground of Melbournians. Lindenderry, at it's very centre is the jewel epitomising the Peninsula's beauty, tranquillity and unerring style.
